KPFK WINTER FUND DRIVE IS HERE!

Dear Burbank ANC Activist,

As you may know, the Burbank ANC has established a tradition of working to
assist KPFK Pacifica Radio in its annual phone-a-thon. During previous
years we have provided endless man-hours to this effort. We believe that
media outlets like KPFK which take courageous steps towards discussing vital
issues of the Armenian community (such as the Genocide and the current
Turkish Economic Blockade of Armenia) should be recognized and thanked.

The Winter Fund Drive begins on Tuesday morning February 17th at 12:00am and
runs through, Midnight on Sunday, February 29th. Volunteers are needed 24/7
in the phone room during this period, and the busiest shift is 5:30 am -
9:15 am. We urge you to take a couple of hours out of the coming week to
help in this drive.

We will be organizing groups from ANC to participate in this effort. Shifts
are 3 hours long and very flexible. Below is a schedule that they have
provided. Please let us know as soon as possible which shift(s) you will be
available for. Thank you.
